Spiritual things have the Lord revealed,So that peace may be to them that love Him.
Tribulations there are in the world:
But of good cheer let them that love Him be;
For the world have the Lord overcome already.
The Lord's weakness is much stronger than men's might;
His foolishness is much wiser than men's wisdom.
The things the world calls foolish He chooses,
That those the world calls wise He might put to shame.
The things the world calls weak He selects,
That the things the world calls strong He might put to humiliation.
He chose the lowly things of the world,
and the things that are despised,
and the things that are not,
That He might bring to nothing the things that are:
So that before Him, no flesh should glory.
